Karen Brothers

Karen is a writer and editor. Having lived most of her life in the Chicagoland area, she recently moved with her husband to Charlotte, NC. They are excited for new adventures together after raising three incredible daughters. An avid pickleball player, Karen absolutely loves spending time at their family’s beach cottage outside of Charleston. While she’s grateful for the trajectory of her writing/editing career, she decided to shift gears and share part of her story in her blog, It’s a Mod Life (www.itsamodlife.com). With the encouragement of two valuable writing communities, she’s working on writing the stories of her life in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. Karen sincerely believes that all of humanity is connected, and we share stories; some of us are meant to be the storytellers. She can’t wait to share part of her story in January with the untold community.
