Malena Hougen

Malena is the mother of three girls. After her first child was born 11 years ago, she was inspired to write and share stories on stage about her experience – the good, the bad and the blah, hoping to find a community. Luckily, she did! Malena teaches theater arts in elementary schools through ArtsUp LA, co-produces the CRxEATIVITY Festival, and recently terrified herself by performing stand-up for the first time. (And she may just do it again. Maybe. **On February 1 at The Federal Bar in Noho**…maybe! Maybe.) She and her family live in West Hollywood.
